The Florida Department of Education contracts with Ascendium Education Solutions to administer student loans on their behalf.
This page provides resources for addressing your defaulted student loans managed by the Florida Department of Education. You can learn about consolidation or schedule one-time or recurring payments. To make payments you will need to provide your Personal Identification Number (PID) and zip code.
To ensure your loans are with Florida Department of Education and have a remaining balance please visit the National Student Loan Data System website.

Make A Payment
Pay Online
When you click the "Make a Payment" button you will be taken to US Bank's payment portal to set up an account. In order to do that you will need your PID and zip code.
- Set up a one-time or recurring payment.
- Cancel a one-time or recurring payment.
- View your US Bank payment history.
- Modify your payment information.
Pay by Phone
You will be asked to enter your Personal Identification Number along with your zip code.

Electronic fund transfer disclosure
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize use of information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account, or to process the payment as a check transaction. When your check is used to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day your payment is received, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
